Senior Jason Robie took second in 16:09, behind Bishop Guertin junior Ethan Fischer's 15:52.4. It was only Robie's third race, after an injury kept him out most of the season. Coach Mike Clark had called this squad a "dream team" back in the preseason.

“These kids just work hard and they're gamers.”
