If you know a kid who would lose it over a surprise, meet Meadow. Cameron Bishop, 22, came home after 11 months at sea and made a last-minute detour Wednesday to in Manchester. The school helped keep the secret until he walked in wearing his uniform, and a video shows Meadow jumping into his arms.

“It's one of those things you can't not be moved by.”

Andrew Sims, principal, Parker Varney Elementary School

Bishop said he asked "the principal or the front office," and they told him he could do it. "I haven't seen my family in so long, so it feels great to connect with my family again," he said. CBS Boston calls Meadow a third-grader. Her own review of the surprise: "He scared me."
