Hope for NH Recovery launched the Pivot Program, an eight-bed, peer-led short-term crisis housing suite at 293 Wilson St. that offers meals, recovery coaches, and stays of 5 to 7 days (up to 30); it opened Aug. 28, reached full capacity Sept. 21, and turned away 34 people in October.

Accidents
Firefighters contained a nearly 10-acre wildland fire (near Old Shaker Road) that reached about 24-inch flames and burned underground after crews worked Saturday evening into Sunday; the blaze was believed out Sunday evening, and crews will return today with a heat-sensing drone to check for hotspots.
