Stewardship Sunday

About this event

Look closely at this year’s Stewardship Fall Campaign logo. What do you see?

We see roots that symbolize the generations of faithful members who built First Church.

The cross-shaped trunk reminds us that Christ is the center of everything that the

church does.

Branches becoming open hands represent members serving others with their time,

talents and treasurers.

The heart-shaped leaves represent generous giving that grows naturally out of grateful hearts.

Together, they form a healthy, flourishing tree reflecting a congregation that continues

to bear fruit because of faithful service and generosity. And while we are the fortunate

beneficiaries of our forefathers who set down the roots of our church, we must also be

good stewards and tend to the maintenance and health of the church to ensure our roots

stay strong for generations to come.

Our pledges are an outward expression of our faith and a response to our call to give

back a portion of our blessings. We hope you will prayerfully consider your pledge in

advance of Stewardship Sunday on November 15th so that our church is healthy and

flourishing as a result of our faithful giving.
